Benadryl DR 100 ml

Benadryl DR is a dry cough syrup with dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant. It is meant for a dry, irritating cough where there is no thick mucus to bring up.

• Cough after a cold or mild throat irritation
• Short-term relief of non-productive cough

Dextromethorphan acts on the cough centre in the brain, raising the threshold for the cough reflex. This calms the urge to cough so the throat gets a chance to settle.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well and measure the dose with the cap or measuring spoon provided.

Not for chesty cough with lots of mucus. Avoid in young children unless a doctor advises. Do not mix with alcohol or other sedatives. Inform your doctor about asthma, liver problems or any antidepressants you take.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
