About
Sumo L Syrup from Alkem is a paediatric oral syrup with Paracetamol. The sweet liquid is easy for children to take and is used to bring down fever and ease mild pain.
Uses

- Mild ear or throat pain
How it works
Paracetamol acts on the brain centres that control pain signals and body temperature, helping reduce fever and ease pain gently.
How to take
Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure with the cup or spoon provided. Do not give other paracetamol products at the same time.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated
- Mild rash in some children
- Rarely, upset stomach
Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver problems or any other medicines the child is on. Do not give more often than advised. See the doctor if fever does not settle within three days.
Storage
Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
