Emeset Drop 30 ml

Emeset Drops from Cipla is a 30 ml oral liquid of ondansetron, a serotonin (5-HT3) receptor blocker. The drop form makes it easier to give to babies and small children who cannot swallow tablets.

• Controls nausea and vomiting in children
• Helpful when vomiting follows chemotherapy or surgery
• Useful in stomach infections that cause persistent vomiting

It blocks 5-HT3 receptors in the gut and the brain's vomiting centre. By calming these triggers, the urge to vomit settles.

Give by mouth using the dropper provided, as prescribed by your doctor. Measure carefully and do not exceed the advised amount. Can be given with or without food.

• Drowsiness in some children
• Mild stomach upset
• Rarely, rash

Tell the doctor about any heart rhythm problem, liver disease or allergy in the child. Do not combine with other medicines without medical advice, as some can affect heart rhythm.

Store below 25°C, away from direct light. Tighten the cap after use. Keep out of reach of children.
