About
Leekuf Syrup from Leeford Healthcare is a combination cough syrup prescribed by doctors. It contains Bromhexine, Dextromethorphan and Ammonium Chloride that act together on cough.
Uses
- Cough with mucus
- Dry, irritating cough
- Chest congestion
- Cough during cold or bronchitis
How it works
Bromhexine and Ammonium Chloride loosen and thin the mucus so it can be coughed out more easily, while Dextromethorphan acts on the brain's cough centre to reduce the urge to cough.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each use and measure the dose with the cup or spoon provided. May be taken with or without food.

- Mild headache
Precautions
Avoid driving if it makes you sleepy. Do not mix with other cough or sedative medicines unless your doctor approves. Tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or breathing problems. Not advised in very young children without medical advice.
