About
Chericof SF Syrup from Sun Pharma is a sugar-free cough and cold formulation that brings together a decongestant, an antihistamine and a cough suppressant. It is used to ease the symptoms of dry, irritating cough with a blocked nose.
Uses
- Dry, non-productive cough
- Blocked or runny nose
- Sneezing and watery eyes from common cold
How it works
Phenylephrine narrows swollen nasal blood vessels to relieve congestion. Chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine, calms sneezing and runny nose, while dextromethorphan acts on the cough centre in the brain to reduce the urge to cough.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well and measure with the cup provided.

Precautions
May cause sleepiness, so avoid driving and using heavy machinery. Tell your doctor about high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma or prostate problems. Avoid alcohol and other sedatives during use.
