About
Ascoril D Junior Syrup by Glenmark blends dextromethorphan, phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine in a paediatric-friendly formulation. It is used for the short-term relief of dry cough with cold symptoms in children.
Uses
- Dry, non-productive cough
- Runny or blocked nose
- Sneezing from common cold
- Watery eyes due to allergy
How it works
Dextromethorphan calms the cough reflex in the brain, phenylephrine narrows swollen nasal vessels to ease blockage, and chlorpheniramine reduces allergy-related sneezing and runny nose.
How to take
Give as prescribed by your doctor. Use the measuring cup provided and shake the bottle well before each dose.

Precautions
