About
Allegra M from Sanofi pairs fexofenadine 120mg with montelukast 10mg in a single tablet. It is often prescribed when allergic rhinitis comes along with mild asthma or persistent nasal block.
Uses
- Allergic rhinitis with cough or wheeze
- Hay fever with mild asthma
- Chronic nasal congestion and sneezing
- Allergy-related night-time breathlessness
How it works
Fexofenadine blocks histamine receptors to stop sneezing, itch and runny nose. Montelukast blocks leukotriene receptors in the airways, reducing swelling and tightening of the air tubes. Together they handle both nose and chest allergy symptoms.
How to take
As prescribed by your doctor. Best taken in the evening with water, swallowed whole.
