Phenergan 10

Phenergan from Abbott contains Promethazine, a first-generation antihistamine that has been trusted for decades to settle allergies, ease nausea and help with restless sleep linked to allergy symptoms. It works on histamine signalling in the body while also having a gentle calming effect.

Promethazine blocks H1 histamine receptors, calming the body's reaction to allergens. It also gently affects areas of the brain involved in nausea and wakefulness, which is why it can soothe travel sickness and bring on drowsiness.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Many people prefer taking it in the evening because it can cause drowsiness.
