Dazit M

Dazit M tablets from Sun Pharma combine Desloratadine, a non-drowsy antihistamine, with Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor blocker. The pair works on two different allergy pathways for better relief.

• Allergic rhinitis with nasal block
• Sneezing, runny and itchy nose
• Hay fever symptoms
• Mild allergic asthma symptoms (as advised)

Desloratadine blocks histamine, the chemical that causes itching, sneezing and swelling during allergies. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, other chemicals that tighten airway muscles and trigger mucus. Together they ease both nose and chest symptoms.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, usually once a day in the evening, with or without food.

• Drowsiness or tiredness
• Dry mouth
• Mood or sleep changes (uncommon)

Tell your doctor about liver problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report any mood changes, unusual dreams or low mood, as Montelukast can rarely affect mood. Do not use as a rescue inhaler for sudden asthma attacks.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip in its original pack and out of reach of children.
