About
Bilasure M by Sun Pharma pairs bilastine, a non-sedating antihistamine, with montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It is used for combined nasal allergy and mild airway symptoms.

How it works
Bilastine calms histamine-driven itching and sneezing by blocking H1 receptors, while montelukast blocks leukotrienes that cause swelling, mucus and airway narrowing.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually one hour before or two hours after meals so bilastine is absorbed well.

Precautions
Avoid grapefruit juice around the dose. Inform your doctor about kidney concerns, mood changes or asthma that worsens despite medication.
