About
Telmikind from Mankind Pharma is a Telmisartan tablet used to control blood pressure. It is one of the most commonly prescribed first-line medicines for adults with hypertension.

How it works
Telmisartan is an angiotensin-receptor blocker. It blocks the angiotensin-II hormone that normally tightens blood vessels, so the vessels relax, blood flows more easily and blood pressure drops smoothly through the day.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water and try not to skip doses.

Precautions
Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems, very low BP, dehydration, or if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Avoid potassium-rich salt substitutes unless your doctor agrees. Stand up slowly from sitting or lying down.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
