Tritelsar 40 from Torrent is a once-daily blood pressure tablet containing telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB).
Uses

How it works
Telmisartan blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II that tightens blood vessels. By blocking this signal, the vessels relax and blood flows more easily, which brings the pressure down.
How to take

Side effects
- Dizziness, especially when standing up
- Back pain or mild flu-like symptoms
- Rarely, raised potassium levels
Precautions
Not for use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems, dehydration, or if you are on diuretics. Avoid potassium supplements unless advised. Rise slowly from bed for the first few days.
