About
Cresar 40 Tablet from Cipla contains Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is commonly prescribed for high blood pressure and to lower the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage.

How it works
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II, a chemical that tightens blood vessels. With the vessels relaxed, blood flows more easily, pressure falls and the heart has less work to do.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time daily, with or without food. Swallow with a glass of water. Continue even if you feel well, unless the doctor advises otherwise.

Precautions
Avoid in pregnancy. Tell the doctor about kidney or liver disease, low blood pressure, or use of water tablets. Have blood pressure and blood tests checked as advised, and rise slowly from sitting or lying.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the strip until use. Keep out of reach of children.
