About
Telma H from Glenmark combines Telmisartan with Hydrochlorothiazide in one tablet. It is widely prescribed when blood pressure stays high despite a single medicine.

How it works
Telmisartan blocks the angiotensin-II receptor, which relaxes and widens the blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps the kidneys flush extra water and salt, easing the load on the heart and lowering pressure.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably in the morning, with or without food. Try to take it at the same time daily and do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

- Changes in potassium, sodium or uric acid
Precautions
Inform your doctor about kidney or liver disease, diabetes, gout, lupus or any sulpha allergy. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Drink enough fluids in hot weather to prevent dehydration.
