About
Cresar 20 Tablet from Cipla contains Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is commonly prescribed to lower high blood pressure and to protect the heart and kidneys in people at cardiovascular risk.

How it works
Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a chemical that narrows blood vessels. By keeping the vessels relaxed, the medicine lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day. Swallow with water, with or without food. Do not stop the medicine on your own even if you feel well.
Side effects
- Dizziness, especially when standing up

Precautions
Avoid in pregnancy. Inform the doctor about kidney problems, liver disease, low blood pressure or dehydration. Get up slowly from sitting or lying to avoid dizziness, and have your blood pressure and kidney tests checked as advised.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original strip until use. Keep out of reach of children.
