About
Tellzy 20 from Alembic contains Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). The lower strength is often used to start treatment in adults with mild high blood pressure.
Uses

How it works
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II receptors on blood vessels. This stops the vessels from tightening, so they relax and widen, allowing blood to flow with less pressure on the heart.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Try to take it at the same time daily, usually in the morning.
Side effects
- Mild dizziness, especially on first dose
- Back pain or muscle ache
- Sinus or cold-like symptoms

Precautions
Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor about kidney disease, liver issues, or if you are on diuretics or potassium supplements. Get up slowly to avoid feeling faint.
