About

Emeset-4 from Cipla is a strip of 10 oral tablets of ondansetron, a serotonin (5-HT3) receptor blocker used to control nausea and vomiting.

Uses

  • Prevents nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy
  • Controls vomiting after radiotherapy
  • Manages nausea and vomiting after surgery

How it works

It blocks 5-HT3 receptors in the gut and in the brain area that triggers vomiting. By blocking these signals, it eases the feeling of sickness.

How to take

Swallow the tablet with water, as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Try to take it at the same times each day.

  • Rarely, changes in heart rhythm

Precautions
