Rexigut 550 from Leeford contains rifaximin in a higher strength tablet, often used in selected liver-related conditions and certain bowel disorders under medical supervision.

• Supports management of hepatic encephalopathy
• Helps reduce recurrence of certain bowel symptoms
• Used in selected cases of bacterial overgrowth
• Used as advised in chronic liver care

Rifaximin is poorly absorbed from the gut and acts on intestinal bacteria, helping reduce ammonia-producing organisms that can worsen brain symptoms in advanced liver disease.

Take by mouth with water as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food.

• Abdominal discomfort
• Headache
• Dizziness or fatigue

Use strictly under medical supervision. Tell your doctor about severe liver disease, allergies or pregnancy. Do not stop early without advice.
