Cremaffin Mint Syrup from Abbott is a gentle laxative pairing liquid paraffin with milk of magnesia in a refreshing mint flavour. It is used for short-term relief of constipation.

Liquid paraffin is a lubricant laxative that softens the stool and makes it slide through more easily. Milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) is an osmotic laxative that draws water into the bowel to soften the stool further and gently stimulate movement.

Shake the bottle well and take by mouth at bedtime, as prescribed by your doctor. Drink plenty of water through the day for best effect.
