Tenovate 0.05% Oint 15 gm

Tenovate Ointment from GlaxoSmithKline contains Clobetasol Propionate, a very potent topical corticosteroid. The ointment base is suited to dry, thickened or scaly skin lesions.

• Thick, dry psoriasis plaques
• Chronic eczema and lichen planus
• Discoid lupus skin lesions
• Other steroid-responsive dry skin conditions

Clobetasol reduces the inflammatory chemicals in skin cells, easing redness, itching and scaling. The ointment also helps lock in moisture, supporting healing of dry, cracked patches.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily. Rub in gently. Wash hands after use unless treating the hands.

• Burning or stinging initially
• Skin thinning with prolonged use
• Stretch marks
• Folliculitis or acne-like spots
• Lightening or darkening of skin

Avoid the face, folds and broken skin unless directed. Do not use for long stretches or over large areas without medical advice. Discuss use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children. Stop if irritation worsens and consult your doctor.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
