Tenovate 0.05% Cream 30 gm

Tenovate Cream from GlaxoSmithKline contains Clobetasol Propionate, a very potent topical corticosteroid. It is used short-term for stubborn inflammatory skin conditions that have not responded to milder steroids.

• Severe eczema and dermatitis
• Psoriasis flares
• Lichen planus and discoid lupus
• Other steroid-responsive skin disorders

Clobetasol calms the skin's immune response, reducing redness, swelling, itching and scaling. It works on the skin cells to dial down the inflammatory chemicals that drive a flare.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day. Wash hands after use unless the hands are being treated. Do not cover with tight bandages unless advised.

• Skin thinning with long use

• Changes in skin colour

Avoid using on the face, groin or underarms unless your doctor says so. Do not use for longer than directed. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are treating a child. Avoid applying to broken or infected skin without advice.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
