Lactifiber from Sun Pharma is a powder that combines two gentle stool-softening agents: ispaghula (psyllium) husk, a soluble fibre from the Plantago ovata plant, and lactitol, a sugar alcohol that draws water into the bowel. It is taken by people who struggle with long-standing constipation or hard, infrequent stools.
