Gluconorm G Plus 2

Gluconorm G Plus 2 from Lupin is a triple-action diabetes tablet that brings together three different blood-sugar helpers in one pill: glimepiride (a sulfonylurea), metformin (a biguanide) and voglibose (an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor). It is meant for adults with type 2 diabetes whose sugar levels are not well controlled by one or two medicines alone.

Glimepiride nudges the pancreas to release more insulin, metformin makes your body more sensitive to the insulin you already have and also lowers the sugar made by the liver, and voglibose slows down how quickly carbohydrates are broken down in the gut, which softens the sugar spike after meals.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the first bite of a meal so the voglibose can work on the food you are eating. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
