About
Diapride M2 LV from Micro Labs is a triple combination tablet of Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. It is used in type 2 diabetes when both fasting and post-meal sugars need extra support.
Uses
- Helps manage type 2 diabetes
- Smoothens after-meal sugar spikes
How it works
Glimepiride helps the pancreas put out more insulin. Metformin reduces liver sugar output and improves insulin sensitivity. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, slows the digestion of carbs in the gut so sugar is absorbed more slowly.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the first bite of a main meal. Do not skip meals after the dose.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
- Gas, bloating or loose motions
- Nausea or stomach discomfort
Precautions
