Cilaheart T from Mankind is a two-in-one tablet that brings together cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker, and telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker. It is prescribed for people whose blood pressure isn't well controlled on a single medicine.

Cilnidipine relaxes the muscles around your blood vessels so blood can flow more easily, while telmisartan blocks a hormone that tightens vessels. Together they help the pressure inside your arteries drop and stay steady.

Swallow with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Try to take it at the same time each day, with or without food.

• Mild headache or dizziness, especially in the first few days
• Ankle swelling or facial flushing
• Feeling unusually tired
• Occasional cough or back discomfort

Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Mention any kidney or liver issues, and avoid potassium supplements unless advised. Rise slowly from sitting to reduce dizziness.
