Amlobig AT is a tablet that pairs amlodipine 5mg with atenolol 50mg. It is used to control high blood pressure and to prevent chest pain (angina). One medicine relaxes blood vessels while the other slows and steadies the heart.

How it works
Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes and widens blood vessels so blood flows more easily. Atenolol, a beta-blocker, slows the heart and makes it beat with less force. Together they lower blood pressure.
How to take
Take exactly as your doctor prescribes, with or without food, at the same time daily. Do not stop suddenly, as that can be dangerous. Swallow whole with water.

Precautions
