Psyllium husk soaks up water inside the gut and becomes a soft gel. The gel adds bulk and softness to the stool, helping the bowel pass it easily without strain.

Follow the instructions on the pack. Stir the contents of one sachet into a glass of water or milk and drink straight away. Follow with another glass of plain water.
