Huminsulin R 40iu 10ml vial

Huminsulin R 40 IU/ml from Eli Lilly is regular (soluble) human insulin presented in the older 40 IU strength. It is a clear, short-acting insulin used to manage mealtime blood sugar in people with diabetes.

It is identical to the insulin your pancreas makes. After injection it begins working in around 30 minutes, peaks at 2–4 hours and helps glucose move from blood into cells so sugar levels fall.

Inject under the skin as prescribed by your doctor, usually 30 minutes before a meal. Use only the matching 40 IU syringe to avoid dosing errors. Rotate injection sites to prevent skin lumps.
