Insugen R refill cartridge

Insugen R from Biocon Biologics is a regular human insulin in a refill cartridge form, designed for use with compatible insulin pens. It helps manage blood sugar in people with diabetes.

Regular insulin acts as a short-acting version of the body's own insulin. It helps glucose move from the blood into the cells, where it is used for energy, and lowers high blood sugar levels.

Use as prescribed by your doctor with a compatible pen device, usually as an injection under the skin before meals. Rotate injection sites and follow your doctor's plan for monitoring sugar levels.

Learn the signs of low sugar (sweating, shakiness, fast heartbeat, confusion) and keep a quick sugar source handy. Do not skip meals after injecting. Inform your doctor about other diabetes medicines, kidney or liver problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Never share pens or needles.

Store unused cartridges in the refrigerator at 2 to 8 degrees C. Do not freeze. The cartridge in use can be kept below 25 degrees C, away from direct heat and sunlight, for the time mentioned in the leaflet.
