APP UP Plus 200ml

APP UP Plus is an appetite-boosting syrup from Intas. It combines cyproheptadine (an antihistamine that stimulates appetite), tricholine citrate (a liver-friendly nutrient) and sorbitol. It is often given to children and adults who are eating poorly or losing weight.

Cyproheptadine acts on certain receptors in the brain that control hunger, gently nudging up the appetite. Tricholine citrate supports normal fat metabolism in the liver, and sorbitol acts as a mild sweetener and helps keep bowels moving.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure with the cap or a marked spoon. It is usually given before meals.

• Dizziness
• Mild stomach upset
• Weight gain (which is often the desired effect)

Not suitable for newborns, premature babies or nursing mothers. Avoid driving or operating machines after taking it as it can cause drowsiness. Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, asthma, an enlarged prostate or are on antidepressants. Use cautiously in the elderly.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place. Keep the cap tightly closed. Do not refrigerate. Keep out of reach of children.
