Drojust 80

Drojust 80 from Dr. Morepen contains Drotaverine, an antispasmodic medicine that helps relax tight muscles in the gut, uterus and urinary tract. It is a commonly prescribed option in India for cramping pain.

• Stomach cramps and colicky abdominal pain
• Painful menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhoea)
• Kidney or biliary colic
• Spasmodic pain in the urinary tract

Drotaverine works on the smooth muscle in the walls of the gut, uterus and other organs, easing the tight squeezing spasms that cause colicky pain. Unlike anticholinergic antispasmodics, it does not usually cause dry mouth or blurry vision.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet unless your doctor allows it.

• Nausea
• Constipation
• Low blood pressure in some users

Tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, very low blood pressure, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid driving if you feel dizzy after a dose. Inform the doctor of all other medicines you take.
