Telma 80 H 10 tab

Telma 80 H combines Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker, with Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. It is used when blood pressure remains high on Telmisartan alone.

• Moderate to severe high blood pressure
• Hypertension with mild fluid retention
• Lowering long-term risk of stroke and heart attack
• Maintenance therapy in resistant hypertension

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II to relax blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide helps the kidneys remove extra salt and water, reducing the volume of blood the heart has to push around.

Take as prescribed by your doctor with water, preferably in the morning so the diuretic effect does not disturb sleep.

• Increased urination, especially early on
• Dizziness or light-headedness
• Muscle cramps
• Dry mouth or thirst

Avoid in pregnancy. Inform your doctor of kidney disease, gout, diabetes, or low potassium. Drink enough water and have salts checked when advised.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in original strip and out of reach of children.
