Telvilite 80 H 10 Tab

Telvilite 80 H from Leeford is a combination BP tablet with Telmisartan, an angiotensin-receptor blocker, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. It is commonly prescribed when one drug cannot keep blood pressure in range.

• High blood pressure not controlled by single therapy
• Long-term BP maintenance
• Reducing fluid load along with BP lowering

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II so blood vessels stay open and relaxed. Hydrochlorothiazide helps the kidneys flush extra salt and water out of the body, lowering blood volume. The two together lower pressure better than either one alone.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water in the morning. Stay well hydrated and rise slowly from bed in the first few days.

• Frequent urination at the start
• Dizziness or light-headedness
• Muscle cramps
• Tiredness
• Drop in potassium or sodium on tests

Not recommended in pregnancy. Tell the doctor about kidney, liver, gout or diabetes problems. Periodic electrolyte and kidney tests are advised.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, in the original strip. Keep out of reach of children.
