About
Cresar AM Tablet from Cipla combines Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), with Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. The two together give stronger blood pressure control when a single medicine is not enough.
Uses
- High blood pressure not controlled by one medicine
- Long-term blood pressure management
- Heart protection in high-risk adults
How it works
Telmisartan blocks the chemical that tightens blood vessels, while Amlodipine relaxes the vessel wall by easing the movement of calcium into the muscle cells. Together they widen the blood vessels and lower the pressure.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, once daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow with water. Do not skip doses or stop on your own.

- Flushing or warmth in the face
- Headache
- Tiredness
Precautions
Avoid in pregnancy. Tell the doctor about kidney, liver or heart disease, low blood pressure or use of diuretics. Get up slowly from sitting or lying and have blood pressure checked regularly.

Store below 25°C in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip. Keep out of reach of children.
