Nodosis 500 15 tab

Nodosis 500 contains sodium bicarbonate, an alkalising agent. It is used to manage conditions where the body becomes too acidic, such as in certain kidney disorders, and for relief of mild acidity symptoms when prescribed.

Sodium bicarbonate neutralises excess acid in the stomach and blood, restoring a healthier acid-base balance. In the urinary tract, it makes urine less acidic, which can ease certain conditions.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with plenty of water. Try to take it at the same times each day. Do not change the dose without medical advice.

• Belching or gas
• Bloating
• Loss of appetite
• Swelling in the feet with long use

Not suitable if you are on a salt-restricted diet or have heart failure, high blood pressure, or severe kidney disease, unless your doctor has assessed you. Mention all other medicines, as it can affect their absorption.

Store below 25°C in a tightly closed pack, away from moisture.
