Pruvict 1 10 tab

Pruvict 1 from Torrent is a prescription tablet containing Prucalopride in a starter strength. It belongs to a newer class of gut-acting medicines used for long-term constipation.

• Chronic constipation in adults
• Constipation not relieved by usual laxatives
• Mostly prescribed for adult women, and sometimes men, as advised

Prucalopride is a serotonin 5-HT4 receptor agonist. It stimulates the natural wave-like movement of the large bowel, helping stools pass more easily and regularly without harsh laxative action.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. The doctor will review benefit after a few weeks; tell them if there is no improvement.

• Headache, especially in the first few days
• Nausea
• Stomach pain or cramps
• Diarrhoea
• Dizziness

Not for people with bowel blockage, perforation or severe inflammatory bowel disease. Tell the doctor about kidney problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Drink enough water and eat fibre-rich food along with the tablet.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
