Pruvict 2 from Torrent is a higher-strength prescription tablet containing Prucalopride. It is used in long-standing constipation when a stronger dose is needed.

• Chronic constipation in adults
• Constipation that has not responded to usual laxatives
• Mostly in adult women, and sometimes men, as advised

Prucalopride acts on serotonin 5-HT4 receptors in the gut, gently boosting the natural movement of the colon. This helps stools move forward and pass out more regularly without irritating the bowel.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Continue lifestyle steps like fibre, water and walking. Inform the doctor if benefits do not appear after a few weeks.

Avoid if there is bowel blockage, perforation or severe bowel inflammation. Inform the doctor about kidney disease, heart issues, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop and call the doctor if there is severe abdominal pain or sudden heart symptoms.
