About
Pan D is a fixed-dose capsule from Alkem that brings together pantoprazole and a sustained-release form of domperidone. It tackles acidity along with bloating, nausea and slow-moving stomach trouble.
Uses
- Acid reflux with bloating or nausea
- Heartburn and indigestion
- Gastric or duodenal ulcers with fullness
- Belching and slow stomach emptying
How it works
Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, lowers acid made in the stomach. Domperidone is a prokinetic that helps the stomach empty faster and eases nausea by acting on the gut and brain trigger area.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually before a meal in the morning. Swallow whole with water, do not open or chew the capsule.

- Stomach pain or gas
- Tiredness or dizziness
Precautions
Tell your doctor about heart rhythm issues, liver problems, low magnesium or pituitary tumour history. Avoid long-term use without a review. Inform your doctor of all other medicines.
