Teneza M 1000 from Torrent Pharmaceuticals is a combination tablet of Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, and Metformin, a biguanide. It is used by adults with type 2 diabetes who need extra help keeping sugar levels steady.

How it works

Teneligliptin slows the breakdown of incretin hormones so the body releases insulin when blood sugar rises and reduces glucose output from the liver. Metformin lowers liver glucose production and improves how the body uses insulin.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, ideally with meals to settle the stomach. Swallow with water at the same time each day.
