About
Diapride M1 by Micro Labs is a tablet that brings together Glimepiride and Metformin. Doctors often pick this combination when one of the medicines alone does not give enough blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes.

How it works
Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that helps the pancreas release insulin. Metformin is a biguanide that lowers the sugar made by the liver and helps the body respond better to insulin. Together they cover two of the main causes of high blood sugar.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a meal to reduce stomach upset. Swallow with water and try to keep timing consistent every day.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
- Nausea, loose motions or metallic taste
- Mild stomach pain or headache
Precautions
Tell your doctor about any kidney, liver or heart conditions. Limit alcohol. Keep glucose tablets handy in case of a sudden low. Pregnancy and breastfeeding need medical advice.
