Gluconorm G1

Gluconorm G1 from Lupin is a two-in-one diabetes tablet that pairs glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) with metformin (a biguanide). It is a commonly prescribed first step when one medicine alone is no longer enough to keep blood sugar in range for adults with type 2 diabetes.

Glimepiride encourages the pancreas to release more of its own insulin, while metformin tackles the problem from another angle by making muscle and fat cells more responsive to insulin and lowering the amount of glucose the liver puts out.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually just before or with breakfast. Swallow with a glass of water and do not skip the meal.
