About

Sporlac from JB Chemicals is a probiotic tablet containing Lactic Acid Bacillus, friendly bacteria that help restore the natural gut flora. It is widely used during and after antibiotic courses or in diarrhoea. The strip holds 25 tablets.

How it works

Lactic Acid Bacillus colonises the gut and produces lactic acid, which limits the growth of harmful bacteria. This rebalances the gut and reduces loose motions and discomfort.

How to take

Take as advised by your doctor, with water. Best taken a couple of hours apart from antibiotic doses so the live bacteria are not killed. Can be taken with or after food.

  • Generally very well tolerated
  • Mild bloating in some
  • Rare allergic reaction

Precautions

Tell your doctor if you have a weakened immune system or an indwelling catheter. Pregnant and breastfeeding women may use after medical advice. Safe in children when prescribed.
