Ganaton OD from Abbott contains itopride in a once-daily extended-release capsule. It is a prokinetic medicine that helps the upper digestive tract move food along more comfortably.

• Bloating and early fullness
• Functional dyspepsia
• Nausea from slow gastric emptying
• Upper abdominal discomfort after meals

Itopride increases the release of acetylcholine and blocks dopamine D2 receptors in the gut, gently speeding up stomach movement so food empties on time.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day before a meal. Swallow the capsule whole with water and avoid crushing or opening it.
