Lomofen LB 10 tab

Lomofen LB is an Embiotic anti-diarrhoeal tablet that combines diphenoxylate and atropine with the antimicrobial furazolidone and a probiotic lactic acid bacillus. It is used for acute diarrhoea where an infective trigger is suspected and gut flora needs support.

• Short-term control of acute diarrhoea
• Diarrhoea suspected to be infective
• Restoring friendly gut bacteria
• Reducing stool frequency and urgency

Diphenoxylate slows the gut so stools become firmer, atropine discourages misuse, and furazolidone tackles common diarrhoea-causing organisms. The lactic acid bacillus helps re-seed healthy bacteria in the bowel.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a glass of water. Drink plenty of fluids and oral rehydration solution alongside to replace what is lost in loose stools.

• Dry mouth
• Constipation if taken too long
• Drowsiness or dizziness
• Mild nausea or abdominal cramps

Not for use in children below the recommended age, in bloody diarrhoea, or in high fever without medical advice. Tell your doctor about glaucoma, liver disease, or other medicines you take, especially MAO inhibitors.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, protected from light. Keep the strip in its carton and out of reach of children.
