Drotarest-M 10 tab

Drotarest-M is a combination tablet from VHL containing Drotaverine and Mefenamic Acid. Drotaverine is an antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscle, while Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine that helps with pain and inflammation.

• Painful menstrual cramps
• Abdominal pain due to spasms
• Pain from spasms of the urinary or digestive tract

Drotaverine eases muscle spasms in the gut, uterus and urinary tract, while Mefenamic Acid blocks chemicals in the body that cause pain and swelling. Together they help relieve cramping pain.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food and a glass of water to be gentler on the stomach.

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Dizziness or headache
• Dry mouth
• Skin rash

Tell your doctor if you have stomach ulcers, kidney or liver problems, asthma, low blood pressure or heart issues. Not generally advised in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless your doctor says so. Avoid alcohol while on this medicine.

Store below 25 degree C in a dry place, away from direct light and out of reach of children.
