Veloz-20 by Torrent Pharmaceuticals contains Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor used to manage acid-related conditions of the stomach and food pipe. It is one of the most commonly prescribed acidity medicines in India.

• Acid reflux and heartburn
• Peptic and duodenal ulcers
• Erosive oesophagitis and related acid disorders

Rabeprazole switches off the proton pump in stomach lining cells, which is the final step in acid production. With less acid in the stomach, ulcers and reflux damage can heal more easily.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, typically before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water and avoid crushing or chewing it.

Long-term use may affect magnesium, calcium, or vitamin B12 levels. Inform your doctor about liver problems, pregnancy, or other medicines. Do not stop treatment suddenly without advice.
