Mucaine Gel Mint from Pfizer combines oxetacaine, a local anaesthetic for the gut lining, with aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, two classic antacids. The mint suspension is used for acid-related discomfort.

The antacids neutralise excess stomach acid for quick relief, while oxetacaine numbs the irritated lining of the food pipe and stomach to ease burning pain.

Shake the bottle well. Take a dose as prescribed by your doctor, usually before meals and at bedtime. Avoid drinking water for a short while after the dose.
