About
Renolen Eye Drop from Indoco Remedies combines naphazoline, a decongestant, chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine, and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, a lubricant. It is used for short-term relief of redness, itching, and irritation linked to allergic or environmental eye discomfort.
Uses
- Red, itchy, or watery allergic eyes
- Eye irritation from dust, smoke, or pollen
- Mild eye discomfort with dryness
How it works
Naphazoline narrows widened blood vessels on the eye surface to reduce redness, chlorpheniramine blocks histamine to ease itching and watering, and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose adds a soothing lubricant layer that protects and comforts the eye.
How to take
Wash your hands, tilt your head back, and place drops in the affected eye as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.
Side effects
- Mild stinging or burning on application
- Blurred vision for a few minutes
- Dryness or rebound redness with overuse
- Pupil dilation in sensitive users
Precautions
Not recommended for long-term continuous use because of rebound redness. Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, high blood pressure, heart disease, or are pregnant. Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius, tightly capped, away from direct sunlight. Discard within 4 weeks of opening. Keep out of reach of children.
