Duphalac Bulk Syrup from Abbott is a fibre-based laxative that mixes Lactulose with Fructooligosaccharides and Wheat Dextrin. It is used for people with ongoing constipation who also benefit from extra dietary fibre.

Lactulose draws water into the gut to soften the stool. Fructooligosaccharides and Wheat Dextrin add bulk and feed friendly gut bacteria, which together make the stool easier to pass.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. The syrup can be mixed with water, juice or milk. Drink plenty of fluids through the day for it to work well.
