Dioval LA Syrup from Wallace is a soothing liquid antacid that also contains a local numbing ingredient. It is designed for quick relief from acidity, heartburn and stomach discomfort linked to extra gas.

Aluminium and magnesium hydroxide neutralise excess acid in the stomach, giving fast comfort. Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic that numbs the irritated lining, helping ease the burning or gnawing pain. Simethicone breaks up gas bubbles so trapped wind can move out more easily.

Take as advised on the label or by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure using the cap or a spoon.
